Congress welcomes incoming freshman class
WASHINGTON — Some 60 new faces, the freshman class of the next Congress, are converging on Washington as lawmakers try to bring the current session of Congress to an end.

UN war crimes prosecutor evaluates hunt for Mladic | Obama and McCain Say They'll Work Together
The first order of business for the more-than 50 incoming House members was a class photo on the steps of the Capitol under a brilliant sun Monday morning. The freshmen, including some 33 Democrats, were also attending orientation meetings on how to set up an office, hire staff and abide by ethics rules.
In the Senate, at least six new Democrats and two Republican freshmen were meeting with their respective leaders.
The 110th Congress could wrap up this week, depending on progress on a proposed economic stimulus plan.
