US Supreme Court asked to review Mumia death sentence case
WASHINGTON, October 20, 2008 (AFP) - The state of Pennsylvania has asked the US Supreme Court to review the death sentence of former Black Panther and activist Mumia Abu-Jamal for the 1981 murder of a police officer, which had been overturned by a lower court, judicial sources said Monday.
